This simple yet sophisticated antique striker (or Pyrogène in French!) was made by Alfred Hache & Co who started producing fine porcelain in the last quarter of the 19th century in Vierzon, France. His designs are highly sought after and this is a very rare find! The stamp would date it somewhere between 1889-1910 but it has a strong Art Deco feel which is so classy These were commonplace on bar tables all over France, pyrogènes are truly special items ✨ It will look so gorgeous on a fire hearth or coffee table!
