An antique herbarium page presented in a custom wooden frame with acrylic glazing. This page originates from an herbarium collection of sedges, reeds, and rushes gathered during the Victorian era by Owen McKinnon. Provenance is provided by Owen McKinnon's great-great grandchild. This specimen of sedge, labelled as Oval Spike Carex, was collected from a woodland meadow in June 1867. It is an original piece, not a reproduction, accompanied by a handwritten description provided by the collector. There are 12 herbariums available, and they are ideal for display as individual standout pieces, integrated into a gallery wall, or arranged together as a cohesive collection.
