These water vessels are a piece of Southern Italian history - used to transporting water over the past several centuries. We found these in a shop that does restorations of masserias in the Puglia area, dating back to the 15th century! We're not sure they're that old, but they are for sure antique. We wish we had more, as there is only 1 left of the 3! It's the one in front in the group picture, or shot on it's own in the others. It is a stunning piece of Italian ceramic history - a lovely decorative piece on it's own or with dried flowers.
