This highly collectable and beautifully crafted pieces is one of the early examples of Jasperware, created by Wedgwood. The Pitcher is a dark olive green colour with white raised filigree and scenes of Greek people and Cherubs. Based on the mark "Wedgewood England", this piece will have been made around 1891. Considering its age, it is in good condition. There are marks / scuffs due to wear. It looks like there has been some restoration done on the handle at some point There is also a hairline crack and small chip on the spout (see photos). However it is still a beautiful piece that is standing strong, with history and character, as well as being a stubbing example of early Wedgwood pottery.
