1900s Antique Large Pair Of Paintings On Silk - Baskets of Fruit Surrounded by Garlands of Flowers w/ Original Ebonised Wood Frames - 20.5" A beautiful large pair of Victorian paintings on silk depicting fruit baskets of apples, blackberries, raspberries and a purple berry with pink pansies and red poppy floral borders. The vivid paintings are protected by glass complete with their original circular ebonised wooden frames. One painting has fallen prey to water damage which has not affected the painting but has stained the silk as detailed in images 2 & 3. The second painting (bordered with red poppies) is in better condition however it features striation lines to the silk as detailed in images 5 & 6.
