Antique Leather Conical Coin Pouch - Cone Shaped Money Box w/ Gold Cash Lettering, Unique Vintage Curio Gift, Unusual Shelf Décor, Film Prop What a lovely find! This antique cone-shaped leather coin pouch is a striking and unusual piece, perfect for curio display. The pouch, dating to approx. 1920's, was produced in a rich reddish brown leather with darker striations across its surface. The body and base sections have been beautifully stitched together. Featuring an upper slot for coin deposits and a brass rivet-secured folding flap and opening sections at the base for emptying. It also has a brass clasp designed for securing with a padlock and the word 'Cash' foiled in gold letters. The condition is great for a piece of this age however there are a couple of surface scratches to the leather at the front and front flap. Most notably, this piece would originally have had a brass hoop secured by a leather flap at the top of the pouch (for affixing to the users belt) however this is no longer present.
