We saw this under a pile of several other (not so great) plates and bowls. We cast aside its stack mates to reveal the true beauty of this piece. It shows it's age at over 100 years, with some flaking and chipping paint, however it's absolutely gorgeous in person. It was always designed to be a wall hung decorative plate and has the hole on the back to prove it.
