Antique Palmyra tureen - 19th century Victorian

Striking Aesthetic period tureen in the Palmyra pattern of Sampson Hancock. They all feature a floral brown transfer pattern with hand coloured flowers in red, blue, and yellow with gilt details. The colours are incredibly vivid still. On the back they are marked with the trademark diamond corresponding to the manufacture date of 2nd February 1883 with the title of the pattern above it. It would make the perfect centrepiece to a special Christmas or wedding (or any other occasion!) meal. I also have matching soup bowls and dinner plates for sale, currently in the "New Arrivals" section. This is an antique tureen and so may show signs of its previous life. There is some wear to the gilt on the handles and rim. There are no chips, crazing, or cracks. Please see photos for details. It measures approximately 22cm in width excluding handles (27cm with handles), and is approximately 15.5cm deep. It stands 9cm tall or 12cm with the lid on.
