Antique Pine Box Rustic Coffee Table

Antique pine rustic blanket box. Could be used for a coffee table, blanket box, toy box or just for storage in just about any room in the house! This piece has plenty of rustic charm and character- if only if it could talk! Made with solid pine with visible dovetail joints, they don’t make them like this any more! The original metal handles are in situ on each end. There is a lock although sadly no key. We have added a new black escutcheon. The exterior is relatively clean and tidy with a divider separating the space. We have cleaned and lightly sanded while retaining the character, before applying a generous coat of Bri wax. There are various marks to the wood achieved from decades of use. No evidence of woodworm.
