We found this stunning example of early 20th century Puglian pottery tucked in the back corner of an 'Aladdin's Cave' of a shop (check our Instgram stories!). It had clearly been long forgotten, full of dirt and dust. A good clean revealed the cracks and repairs that have been done to this bowl - showing that it meant a lot to the previous owners that they'd take the time to repair it after a major break. We love ceramics anyway, but the repairs and chipped glazing added to the beauty of this piece. Long gone are the days of original use, however as a decorative piece of antique art - it's a stunning example!
