This is a rare and collectable, hand painted antique wall hanging plate or display plate produced by Shelley - Late Foley between 1910-1916 The pattern is from the Surrey Scenery design The plate depicts a lovely country scene with a cottage, horse and trap, sheep and a beautiful setting sun finished with a dark green painted rim To the back is the makers mark and design number- 7662 and a sturdy string threaded through three holes for wall hanging Size approx. 26.2cm diameter The plate is in a lovely antique condition with just a few blemishes here and there which is to be expected from a piece of this age, the main blemish being towards the top right of the plate as shown in close up photo Please see all photos as they do form part of the description Thank you for visiting...more
