Antique Silver Scallop Clam Shell Salt Cellars

An absolutely stunning pair of 19th century antique silver shell dishes for salt - complete with their spoons! With their original Bravingtons box, they make a beautiful gift for a loved one. A sure way to delight your guests or even have a fantastic boujee solo breakfast! In the Victorian era, individual salt cellars were placed on the table for each guest. Why not bring back this tradition! The shells and spoons are in fantastic condition with only minor damage. One of the spoons has a dark mark in. Theyve been cleaned and polished to make them sparkle! The set comes in its original hinged box, complete with the company stick on the reverse. The sticker says Bravingtons jewellers and watchmakers with addresses of their stores on Orchard Street, Fleet Street and St Albans. A small note that I would recommend removing the salt between uses so as not to corrode the silver. The salt pots measure 5cm wide x 5.3cm length. The spoons are 6cm each.
