Unique terracotta Greek amphora. Fantastic 'elongated' form. On iron tripod stand. Beautiful decorative amphora that replicates the Ancient Greek that was used as a storage and transportation jar. Amphora with cylindrical neck with two side handles, of a globular form with the body tapering into a cylindrical pointed spike at its base. The Amphora is supported on wrought iron conical tripod stand. The colours are beautiful and feature a lovely terracotta with old white paint , grey, brown and green tones. The ceramic is a rough, matte surface as it is unglazed. Lots of patina Stunning addition to any garden or home. Would be extremely striking in both a minamalist or maximalist setting.
