This is a vintage solid oak writing desk which I have fully stripped and sanded back to the original antique oak. It has been painted in Frenchic hornblower blue with gold accents. I have added blue and gold geometric paper to the writing surface and the interior of the drawers. The small interior drawer retains its original handle whilst I have added sleek gold-coloured handles to the two generous-sized drawers offering ample storage. The keyhole plate is original but the lock is not functional. This is a sturdy, heavy desk that has seen many years of use. It does have signs of wear consistent with its age which adds character to this stylish bureau. Free delivery to UK mainland.
