This is a gorgeous little Art Deco pairing of coffee can and saucer dating back to the 1930s. It’s from Soho Pottery and bears their Ambassador Ware stamp. In line with its age there are a couple of minor chips which are shown in the pics. One is a tiny chip on the rim of the saucer and the other is a tiny chip on the base of the cup itself. There’s crazing on the saucer, but the cup isn’t affected. The cup is just over 5.5cm tall and the saucer is 11.5cm in diameter. A pretty little pair from almost 100 years ago!...more
