Rare and stunning art deco bowl made by the Woods factory. It depicts a large crane flying by a golden moon. Although unsigned, this was most likely designed by Frederick Rhead during his time at the factory. The bird is incredibly similar to other known Rhead works. This beautiful bowl is a deep cobalt colour with gold transfer and hand enamelled colouring. Backstamped for the retailer Hales Hancock and Godwin Ltd. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
