With its bold handpainted and brightly colourful floral pattern, this beautiful little teapot is a fine example of Hancock's Ivory Ware and dates to circa 1930s. In wonderful condition for its age, there is no evidence of cracks, chips, crazing or stains, just a few minuscule nibbles to the inner rim of the lid - shown in picture 6 - which are invisible when the lid is on.
