Stylish and beautiful lidded brass box with stylised bird and a lovely dark verdigris enamel finish. Embossed on the base with the maker's name, Dayagi Israel Perfect as a jewellery box or for storing small trinkets. As with all my vintage pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its uniqueness, character and charm - this is in great condition, the only wear being to the top edges where it looks as if the upper shiny gold layer has rubbed back in areas leaving the brass below exposed.
