Stunning ribbed vase with hand painted trees by Thomas Forester and Sons, Phoenix ware. It features a blue to cream to light brown ombre background. Over the top is painted a number of brown tree silhouettes and some small red flowers. A classic example of art deco design. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There are no chips or cracks. There is some crazing and signs of use inside the vase, all commensurate with age. Please see photos for details.
