A BRETBY ART POTTERY JARDINIERE, c.1890, moulded leaf design, yellow and green majolica glazes,marked '1222D. Swirling botanical raised relief design that might suggest flowers or an abstract leaf pattern. This beautiful art nouveau, majolica planter/Jardiniere, is in an excellent condition. It has a lovely shape, is glazed in a rich honey & yellow glaze and has a lovely textured detailing, typical of the art nouveau period. This would look fabulous with a fern or palm. 📐Height 15cm Diameter ( at opening) 20.5cm Weight 1.222kg 🔍 Great vintage condition - one very tiny nibble on the rim. ♻️ All packaging is recycled or recyclable. 🎁 If you’re buying for a gift please let me know and I can wrap accordingly & enclose a message on your behalf....more
