Lovely Arts and Crafts convex mirror with brass frame featuring beautifully modelled repousse oak leaves and acorns. While this mirror is unmarked, it could be the work of the Keswick School of Industrial Arts because of the style and handmade features as it exemplifies the ideals and techniques of the Arts and Crafts movement. It's in excellent condition with an aged patina and some verdigris on the frame, original convex mirror and metal hanging chain to the rear. As with all my antique and vintage pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its uniqueness, character and charm - there are a couple of small scuffs to the surface of the mirror and some cloudiness to its appearance when viewed from a certain angle.
