Vintage Arts and Crafts Repoussé Brass Framed Wall or Floor Mirror - Hand Worked Fleur De Lis Relief Surround, Wood Back - Square Mirror A stunning square Arts and Crafts antique bevelled mirror dating to the early part of the 19th Century featuring a brass plate with fleur-de-lis hand crafted repoussé work bordered by ribbed trim. The brass plate is mounted on to what appears to be a copper surround which is pin tacked in place. Apart from some beautiful patina to the brass and copper work, there is no damage to the mirror, save for a couple of light surface scratches to the upper and lower central area. Considering the age of this piece, it's in exquisite condition. The mirror and metal work is mounted on to mahogany wood. PLEASE NOTE - There are no wall fixings in place so these will need to be retrofitted. On this basis it would also work as a floor mirror perched against a wall between your favourite indoor plants.
