I love pewter, but this hammered pewter Craftsman of Sheffield 7 piece set is just in a league of its own. The name was used by Viners between 1926-1939. Arts and crafts set with beautiful bakelite handles and knobs. So very unusual to find them intact with the original tray. It's in great condition, the tray has a slight wrinkle to the lip but it could very easily be straightened out. Does not detract for me so I would leave it as it is, you can turn to the back when displaying. So much skilled work in all the pieces. Superb quality with impressive weight. We haven't polished up as patina is such a very personal preference but it would shine up a treat if you prefer.
