1950's Jug with incised diagonal decoration and Tenmoku glaze. Made at the Pottery established on Friary land in 1955 by David Leach (son of Bernard Leach). An understated and very beautiful piece of English studio pottery. Impressed Aylesford Friars mark on base. In excellent condition with only a very small loss of glaze to lip (1mm x 2mm approx).
