These coasters are my interpretation of the cast iron trivets I was previously selling on here.. The layers represent the draft angle of the original castings., each layer is separated by machined aluminium spacers like the ones seen on my other pieces.. They are held together with brass machine screws and sit on cork feet.. This is from the original listing.. These beautiful cast iron trivets are made from broken cast iron panels salvaged from scrap yard.. The panels are believed to be damaged floor grates from Norwich Catherdral.. They have been given a new life and feature rubber feet to avoid scratching work surfaces.. This listing is for the raw version.. Other colours available., please check my other listings.....more
