Ben Saxon black bear print vase - Native American

A stunning Native American vase by artist Ben Saxon. It is a sinuous thin oval shape with wide shoulders and a much smaller base which lends it an air of elegance. It is of the traditional black on black pottery design, and formed of black clay which is finished with a high gloss black glaze. A bear paw on each side has been left unglazed providing a striking design. It is signed on the bottom B. Saxon. This would make an excellent addition to any pottery collection and fit in perfectly with a minimalist interior. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Please see photos for details. It is approximately 8.5cm in height, 6.5cm in width (for the base), and 2.5cm deep.
