This is a lovely and substantial vintage first aid cabinet, full of character with a unique patina. It has its original dark bottle green paint inside and out and a Bakelite handle. The door has an overhang which holds it in place when opened - it pulls open and is pushed to close. The cabinet has its original holes in the back to allow it to be wall mounted. The entire piece has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed and polished to preserve the surface patina. As with all my vintage and antique pieces this has bumps and blemishes that reflect its previous life adding to its character and charm - the cabinet is in great functional condition, there is considerable wear to the exterior paint and some areas of rust, particularly inside (I've sealed these with beeswax) and a little area of loss to the edge of the handle.
