Chalk ware Art Deco asymmetric vase. Pattern name Marwood. Made by Brentleigh Ware, Howard pottery Company Ltd, Stoke on Trent, England. Circa 1930s. Mottled brown colour with orange flowers and green foliage. Lovely Art Deco design with the fin protruding from the top and opposite bottom. There is some chips to the paint / glaze and a patch missing from inside, Please look carefully at the pictures as they form part of the description. Although these were initially mass-produced, their availability has significantly dwindled over the years. With the factory ceasing operations in the mid 1970s, they have transitioned from everyday items to sought-after collectibles, valued for their rarity and historical charm. Measurements approx. Rim 7cm diameter. Base 5cm diameter. Height 13.5cm. Weight 259g. Condition: Good used condition, showing signs of love and use.
