Exquisite single antique William IV solid Rio rosewood spoon back chair C. 1830s. Beautifully tactile hand shaped upper rail, sweeping sabre back legs, hand carved decorative splat, exquisite rosewood graining. Natural age related historical knocks/repairs, perfect patination with no loose joints. Drop in seat is a traditionally upholstered webbed seat. Covered in our personal favourite textile in the Timorous Beasties collection, Graffiti Stripe velvet. We love the dramatic effect of the muted and neon tones and the freedom of the design. Graffiti Stripe is the perfect juxtaposition on beautiful antique furniture and makes for a striking conversation piece in any eclectic home.
