Handmade storage cabinet / lamp table, consisting of a four drawer library card index unit, sitting on a pine base, with black tapered dansette legs. The drawer unit simply slots into the base, making this a versatile piece of furniture that can either sit on a desk, or work as a lamp table with storage. The drawer unit is made entirely from solid wood, with nailed and glued joints. Original dark brown finish has been removed, to reveal the rich honeyed tones of the wood. It’s in well used vintage condition, with age appropriate marks throughout and various signs of extensive usage. Drawers have a smooth action. Metal pull / card holder to front of drawer.
