This pretty twin section oval serving plate is hand painted in England by Carlton Ware and is of the Australian Design range. It is in a peachy pink glaze and has a darker pink orchid design. On the base there are three small raised feet, the maker mark and the imprinted number 2593. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a very small manufacturing fault which I have shown in the photographs. It measures 31cm in length and 21.5cm in width. Apart from a serving dish it would look lovely on a dressing table to hold jewellery or crystals.
