Ornately Carved Lidded Trinket Dish in an elegant octagonal shape with Varying Shades of Pink / Cream / Caramel Brown natural soapstone. Measurements are as follows ~ 4cm opening, 3cm height, 5cm base We love this Vintage 1970s Pill Box, made from beautiful soapstone and intricately carved with pattern and a quirky bird - we’re not quite sure if it’s a Cockerel, Hen or Chicken! Either way, it’s a perfect place for stashing away tiny treasures, or perhaps as a unique way of presenting a ring for a countryside proposal - or on a beach, desert or mountain location… As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In very good vintage condition - although please note that due to the soft nature of this stone, there is one teeny chip.
