Slumped glass, 40th, Ruby Anniversary plate. Oval Fiestaware Gold gilt and red roses pattern. Made by Chance Bros. Smethwick, England Circa 1970s This plate would have been given as a 40th Wedding Anniversary gift. Although these were initially mass-produced, their availability has significantly dwindled over the years. With the factory ceasing operations in 1972, they have transitioned from everyday items to sought-after collectibles, valued for their rarity and historical charm. This item is cross listed.
