This stunning chest of drawers has been painted in in a beautiful, rich shade of mineral paint, "Bayberry", which has also been varnished in a matt wax finish varnish for extra protection. The two top drawer fronts have been stripped of their old varnish and stained, then varnished to protect and enhance the beautiful wood grain. The same finish has been applied to the pretty curved legs. The drawers are in good condition with dovetail joints and solid bases and they have all been cleaned and polished to refresh them. This lovely piece would work equally well in a bedroom, hallway or living room. It is very heavy and will require two people to lift.
