Very pretty vintage Chinese porcelain lidded box, in the Rose Famille mille Fleurs style. Gorgeous colours, hand painted flowers. In good condition. Light marks to the interior, but nothing significant. The glaze is quite rustic in parts, and there's a mysterious tiny blot of silver paint at one corner. Only noticeable if you study closely. Please check the photos. There is a narrow ridge on the underside, which presumably served a practical purpose. Possibly it was part of a set and slotted into a tray of some sort? It means that the edges don't sit fully on a surface. However it feels secure and would be fine on a stable surface. Measures 12cm wide x 8cm deep x 6cm height....more
