This little ceramic Japanese Art of Chokin trinket pot is in black with gold banding and an engraving of a horse mounted Samurai warrior. The engraving is gilded with gold and silver, an art which was originally created to decorate the armament of the of Samurai warriors. This example is a little age worn with some scratching to the top and wear on the gilt rim (please see pics). It measures 3.5cm tall and 7cm wide. It could be used to store small items such as pins, jewellery or pills. Please browse my shop and if you are interested in more than one item message me so I can adjust the postage cost.
