Invoke the Danish spirit of Hygge this Christmas with this authentic Danish Christmas candle and bud holder / faience. It was designed in 1940 by Hans Henrik Hansen for Aluminia which later became Royal Copenhagen. This is an original design with the Aluminia mark and green trim, which disappears in the later models. This classic piece of Scandinavian design will make anyone's Christmas. It is used to hold a candle/taper/Christmas tree candle and a sprig of foliage. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There is some light crazing as expected with the age and three stains to the top from a taper/candle. There are no chips or cracks.
