Clarice Cliff mushroom posy ring - unusual

An unusual beige ring posy vase by Clarice Cliff. This donut shaped vase is unusual as it features none of the bright colours and patterns associated with Clarice Cliff, rather it is an elegant mushroom brown colour. The one-tone colour palette allows for the elegant shape of the dish to sing with the central stem rising up organically out of a larger dish. It would make an amazing centrepiece filled with large pastel blooms and is a talking point on its own. If you've ever wanted to own some Clarice Cliff, this would be an excellent starter piece. It is signed on the base. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There are some brown (iron?) stains to the base, however these are commensurate with age and do not detract from the piece as they can't be seen when in use. Please see photos for details.
