Collection of Five Vintage Avon Perfume Bottles

Ever wondered what the 1970s smelt like? Well now you can find out! This fab kitsch collection of five vintage Avon perfume bottles is ready to share its secrets! The blue bell contained Moonwind eau de cologne and although nowhere near full, there’s still a decent quantity inside if you to use it! The brown chess piece has been washed at some point and lost its aroma. It also has no sticker. The little glass harp contained Sweet Honesty and retains a delicate scent. The Meersham pipe, with its ceramic body and wild boar hunting scene contained Tai Winds and again, unfortunately, has lost its scent. The stem is also loose and can come out, but can be pressed in again for display. Easily resolved with some glue. The magnifying glass contained Windjammer aftershave and the aroma is still there if you unscrew the top. The scent of Saturdays evenings 50 years ago! These items were never made to last, although keep an eye out and they do pop up! Great if you’re looking to start an affordable collection! They were marketing gimmicks and as such the tops are painted plastic and there are signs of age and use-related life. They are wonderful nonetheless!...more
