These beautiful hand printed throws are not vintage items but would work beautifully in a home full of eclectic treasures. They are made of 100% cotton with lovely hand printed designs and hand running stitches, a traditional Indian embroidery technique called Kantha embroidery. They are made of several lightweight layers of cotton stitched together and would make the most beautiful double bed quilt or runner across the base of a larger double bed. They would also work as a sofa throw or even as a picnic or beach blanket. The edges are bound with a cotton trim to match the cotton running stitch through the quilt. We have both single and double sizes available in both a black and grey colourway. The throws are washable. We would recommend a gentle wash at 30 degrees with a gentle spin.
