This embroidery known as 'Crewel' is entirely done by hand by both men and women, using beautiful coloured pure wool yarn. The motifs are all inspired by nature and the flora and fauna of the mountains. Unused/ new pieces but their backing(which is a thick canvas like cotton) has a faint dust line at places from storage. I have reflected that in the prices...though it makes no difference to the beautiful cushions. Entirely handcrafted and any variation is no flaw but a part of its charm. Dry cleaning recommended....more
