A bold and incredibly beautiful piece of sculptural glass made by the Chřibská glassworks and more than likely designed by Josef Hospodka during his second tenure at the factory in the late 80s. Crafted with a stunning fuchsia pink glass encased in a clear glass, it looks flower like from above with its undulating edges. The pattern number is 115/5/15 and it was shown in a 1999 Chřibská catalogue. H: 6cm W: 14cm The Chřibská glassworks, full name Sklarna Chřibská, was founded in 1414, in the town of Chřibská, which was originally part of Bohemia, and became part of Czechoslovakia in 1919. The factory was known as the oldest glassworks in Europe, until its closure in 2007. ~~ All items are sold as seen. We aim to show and describe them as accurately as possible, so do look at the images carefully and request any further information should you need it.
