The Czech Republic is not as well known as it's Italian counterpart when it comes to 20th century glass, however (not so secretly) we're more into it! The organic shapes, swopping curves, and use of colour within the glass are simply stunning. The Mstisov glass works, originally named Eintrachthutte, was founded in 1868 by F. Fischmann & Sons. Frantisek Zemek was the chief designer at Mstisov in the 1950's, most known for his Rhapsody collection. This is a lovely example of his designs and will make a great decorative piece within any interior. Very minor little scrapes on the bowl, that photos cannot pick up.
