Pair of mid century onion candle holders, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs. A beautifully weighted design with a slight tilt, that enables the candle holder to sit either upright, or at an angle. Very typical of Danish mid century design ethos, displaying a wonderful combination of simplicity and functionality. The bottom has been stamped Dansk Designs Denmark IHQ. The candle holders stand approximately 6.5cm high, and are designed to fit a 7-8cm tapered beeswax church candle. In good vintage condition with clear signs of usage.
