Created and modelled by Gill Pemberton the Denby Chevron pattern stoneware range was born in 1962. This contemporary range is both admired for its beautiful sculptural form and its balanced highly functional practicality. The minimalistic modern clean lines are perfectly paired with a distinctive raised horizontal serrated chevron pattern. Denby Chevron is a true British design classic of the 20th century that takes its cue from the Bauhaus principles on form and function, its strong modern aesthetic lines have earned it a coveted place within the V&A museum collection. Finished in an earthy olive green colour with matt glaze the coffee pot has a faint Denby hallmark on the base. Great condition with no crazing, chips or cracks.
