Two Charles Dickens character miniature Toby jugs by Royal Doulton. These are a rare, highly collectible pair designed by Harry Fenton and produced between 1949 and 1952. They are marked on the base with an "A". They are Sairey Gamp (D6263) from Martin Chuzzlewit and Sam Weller (D6265) from The Pickwick Papers. An excellent unusual gift for the literary person who is hard to buy for! These are vintage items and so may show signs of its previous life. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or signs of wear. Please see photos for details. They are approximately 10.8cm in height and 7cm in width.
