A stunning Kastehelmi brown glass double cake stand by Oiva Toikka, the world renowned glass artist from Finland, 1931-2019. Toikka designed the Kastehelmi series in 1964. Kastehelmi is Finnish for “dewdrops”, and the droplets found in nature inspired this beautiful, bubbly design. It looks amazing under light, or on a candlelit table! One plate is 25 cm in diameter, and the other is 17 cm, both in good condition, some nibbles on rim of larger one, barely visible, and some wear to chrome handle. Has original ARABIA, Wartsila, Finland label. As all items are preloved, there maybe signs of wear and use. Items are examined and all issues are identified as far as possible, but please see photos as they are a guide to condition along with the description. Feel free to message with any questions.
