A Sorrentoware marquetry and gilt metal mounted cocktail wagon, mid 20th century; the top and shelf below decorated with floral sprays on quarter veneered reserves with foliate borders twin drop leaves opening to form a circular top, with galleried edge. Knopped supports and three conjoined metal circlets for decanters beneath at the front of the trolley. Fabulous craftsmanship, a fantastic statement piece in any room, and a delight to use. Beautiful drinks trolley/tea cart ready to impress. Cleaned and polished sitting pretty, the brass has aged with a lovely patina throughout, fully functioning trolley, some wear on the push handle. Both inlay trays inherent some fine scratches from many years of use as a drinks trolley. Not noticeable till up close due to its glossy finish. Veneer all intact and wheels oiled.
