A stunning late 18th century Dutch style Mahogany cylinder bureau of bombe form. The cylinder opens as the writing slide is pulled forward and reveals a wonderful interior fitted with 6 various shaped drawers, pigeonholes and tooled black leather writing surface that has been replaced. Below are 3 long deep drawers with intricate brass pulls and lock mechanism. The keys sadly didn't survive but everything else is in working antique order. All antique pieces are treated for wood worm in our workshop as standard. This bureau was refinished with Rubio oil and all the drawers polished with our own Wood Balm to nourish and revive the wood.
