This quirky and highly collectable 1930s onwards salad bowl called 'Lobster Salad' is beautifully modelled and would be a popular talking point on any table with its textured lettuce leaf and three colourful lobsters on the side design. Hard to age exactly but expected to be 30s-40s due to Crown Devon design and overall style of the piece. Complete with lobster claw and letuce deisgned salad serving spoon and fork. It is in really great vintage condition and was made by Crown Devon of England, stamped 'Crown Devon, Made in England'. SIZE 11cm high x 22cm wide CONDITION Very good condition. Bright glazing with very fine crazing. Other than some very fine crazing and minor areas of discolouration (which is not noticeable) there is a very small patch of glazing missing to the underside - see photo which was only noticed under close scrutiny, is insignificant/expected for vintage and only mentioned for complete accuracy....more
